Day at the Museum

This was actually the very end of the day, when the Conductor of the train let Dominick push the horn on the train - it is obvious that he was extatic!

In deep thought about when this Duck Bill Dinosaur is going to come to life and chase him like in the movie!

Was very happy to show me the feet here on this dinosaur.

This is us, minus the face of our sweet Dominick! I dare anyone to try and peel his eyes off of that window during a train ride. We normally drive into the city, but because our car needed to have the breaks replaced, we decided to give Dominick a train ride and a day at the Museum of Natural History all in one. Aaron took Dominick to see this movie, and he has been talking about it ever since.

Kambree's favorite exhibit (from a distance) her not so favorite exhibit up close. Aaron also scared her pretty bad at Toys R Us in Times Square, by putting her up next to the Dinosaurs face right as he roared - it was kinda funny though. The funniest part, is that Kambree is still talking about "Dadda, scary Disour."

The Aliens are Here!

Just kidding! These are no aliens, just Dominick and Kambree getting excited about Dominick's swimming lessons starting.

He wouldn't take them off all afternoon - at least they are broken in!

Blossoming Artist

A good artist is never afraid to get dirty! She was so proud of her work of art - if you can't tell, it is a dog! She, like Dominick only prefer to color with markers - it sure does make laundry more interesting!

More Snow Day

I can't believe how much she loves to eat snow. It was so hard to get a picture of her without her mitten stuck to her tongue.

This was our boy when we walked inside. He decided to pretend he was Santa Clause.

Here she comes! It was crazy to see how brave Kambree was - she didn't want me to go down the hill with her (mostly because I am so big it is hard to fit anything on there with me). She went pretty fast on that ice, and Dominick would give her a push just for luck!

There was one little crash! This face plant was hillarious, because when she came up she was a little confused. Then, of course went strait back up the hill for more!

Latest Snow Day

This last snow storm we got was awesome for sledding, because a few inches of powder fell, followed by another few inches of freezing rain. This made some great sledding conditions on our mini hill outside. This is Dominick ripping down the track! Only his second time sledding, and already a pro.

Couldn't keep this kid inside if I tried!

On this freezing rain, you can have lots of fun on little chariotts. I bet you can't tell what happened next!

The cutest little snow kids in the world. Kambree wanted Dominick to pull her everywhere. It was not as difficult becuase it was so slick. As the picture above shows though, it was tough to keep her on the sled!

Star of the Day

Dominick was the "Star of the Day" at school last week, and was so so excited. In fact, he won't let us throw the star hat away, and insists that he is the "Star" at home too (meaning he gets special privelages - sneaky!!). He got to take his favorite book and read it to the class and also his favorite treat - bagels and cream cheese. It was an awesome day to really appreciate how special he is to our family! We love him so much, and can't imagine a day without our star.

My First Pony-Tails

I was so excited to put pony-tails in her hair. I didn't think they would hold, and she did have a bucket full of clips holding up the hair in the back, but we did it nonetheless!! She was so excited to see herself in the mirror too.

My Girly Girl

This was just after we finishe painting her little finger nails. She was so careful not to touch anything, and had to show everyone!

You can see the red crayon by her foot - this is what she was furiously trying to paint her toe nails with. I finally realized what she wanted, and she was so excited when I pulled out the bag of polishes.

She was awesome, and didn't move the entire time. I can't get enough of these little girl moments. Now we just need to work on her willingness to wear little dress ups.

Puddle Time

Kambree was finally able to fully enjoy her rain coat and boots. She might have enjoyed them too much, because when we got to the car, we had to dump two boot-fulls of water out first.

Dominick was also very excited to spalsh in the puddles. We have misplaced his rain boots, but he didn't mind. This picture is actually really funny, becuase just seconds before this he was running back and forth throught the puddles - as I'm sure you've guessed, next he tripped and fell flat on his face. It was really funny, and he still asked to watch the video clip of it.

He was also collecting who knows what in his cup. He was excited about all of the shells that had been washed up from the shore.

My dear Kambree - so innocent. We actually had to leave the park because my sweet little girl would not stop eating the water. Sounds harmless, except for the fact that we were at a public park/beach where millions of seagulls reside (meaning they you know what all over the place) as well as geese. Gratefully, after fasting for her health on Sunday she escaped any major illnesses - these times are evidence to me of a higher power looking out for our babies!

Update...Finally!

Yes, can you believe it - they still make wax lips! I tried to convince Dominick that they are not for eating, but he just would't have it. That is until he had a huge wad of wax that he was chewing in his mouth that he was too scared to swallow!

The suckers were also part of the favor bag, and I think it is obvious who has never experienced anything this awesome!

This is the "I'm so cute and I know it face - so I'm not even worried about getting what I want."

One of the rare opportunities Dominick gives us to take a picture of him looking at us. They truly are priceless!


Okay, so I feel so bad for not keeping up with this. I actually have wanted to for quite some time now, because I FINALLY GOT A NEW CAMERA!!! I had to scream that, because it has been at least 4 years in the making, and now it is real!!! I know you won't believe me just telling you, so I will prove it with several pages of the cutest kids in the world - Dominick and Kambree!!!

Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering - we are all doing well. Dominick just got over (and is still recovering) from a serious illness. I call it an illness, because it was never diagnosed as anything, but for four days straight he was spiking fevers over 103. It was crazy, and really quite scary for me. Fortunately for me I go into a coma once I fall asleep, and so poor Aaron is the one who suffered through the nights (which were the worst times). Gratefully he has not spiked a fever for one whole day now, and albeit very tired, is back to his normal self. Kambree hasn't lost a beat. She told me several times that Dominick was sad, and gave him the sweetest little loves. She has decided to tell me what to do now, and thus has catapulted herself into the stage of "time-out". Unfortunately for me, though she thinks time-out is funny (like Dominick did at first too). She is crazy about dogs still, and her favorite thing is to pretend that she is one. I only have to stop her when she starts picking up everything with her mouth, and licking Dominicks legs (I bet you can't guess who taught her what dogs do). The two of them keep me busy, smiling, laughing, crying and just plain happier than anything! Aaron is loving work, and doing so well. I am starting digital scrapbooking, and so it keeps me busy at nights. The Lord has blessed us so much, and we are so grateful for all of our family and friends. Right, no onto the pictures.
